O’s Notes: In Common is a fusion quintet featuring Walter Smith III (sax), Matthew Stevens (g), Joel Rose (vibes), Harish Raghaven (b) and Marcus Gilmore (d). We enjoyed the interplay between the musicians on “Unconditional Love”, “Baron” and the relaxing vibe of “ACE”. This is their debut recording and they show some promise for sparks in the future.
