O’s Notes: Sarah is a new voice on the jazz scene but one to take note of. She plays sax (tenor, soprano) and flute and breathes a lot of passion through her horn on ballads like the opener and upbeat tunes like “Bossa Among The Trees”. Guitarist Christian Bluhme Hansen makes his presence known, as does drummer Thomas Pr¾stegaard. Marianne Markmann-Eriksen plays alto and baritone sax and blends well with Elgeti. The program includes a dozen fresh originals. Among the best are the mysterious vibe of “Ringe I Vand” and “Blustering Waves”. This is a solid statement from Denmark!
