O’s Notes: Along with some excellent work on piano, Michael brings his view of the world together (instrumentally) on Intoxicate. The program includes much of the African and Indian influences of his prior release. It is combined with funky, jazzy beats to create a rather mellow mix highlighted by “Side Winder” and “Sexual Healing”. We found it worthy of repeated listening and yes, somewhat intoxicating!
