O’s Notes: Yes, these are phunky blues complete with brass, guitars and tight drum beats as on the title track. The music flows and makes you want to move with it. There are a combination of R&B cuts like “Forget About Me” along with soulful blues like “Sweet Potato” and our favorite, “Eleanor Rigby”. Mem’s guitar playing is crisp, clear and liquid. If you actually listen to the lyrics on “I’ll Kiss A Pit Bull” you’ll roar with laughter. This is an entertaining set!
