O’s Notes: This is Lillie’s debut recording featuring her interpretation of eleven classics. Her voice is as delicate as a rose. It fits well with the piano (Tony Monte), bass (Miriam Sullivan) and guitar (Edward Decker and Bucky Pizzarelli) sounds of this session. Jim Saporito adds percussion accents and we never missed the drums! The sound is well balanced on this recording with Kae pronounced, front and center. Bucky’s solos blends well with Kae on “That’s All” and the fun loving “Ding Dong”. “Day In, Day Out” and “Nobody’s Heart” show Kae’s potential. We’ll stay tuned.
