O’s Notes: This is the debut recording of Iron Kim Style, a progressive rock fusion band. The ‘fellow travelers’ are guitarist Dennis Rea, Thaddaeus Brophy (12-string g), Bill Jones (t) Ryan Berg (b) and Jay Jaskot (d). Guest artist Izaak Mills (bass cl) plays on two selections notably the opener “Mean Streets of Pyobgyang”. The music is a freely improvised studio session. At times it will reminds us of the Miles Davis fusion music. It is a definitive work that will appeal to listeners who enjoy free flowing acid fusion.
