O’s Notes: 1915 is the focal point for It Was A Very Good Year, a collection of eight classics and two originals. Rex Bell (p) leads the charge with his rhythm section including Joe Vick (b) and Dave Rogers (d). The Infrared Academic Festival Orchestra conducted by Sir Eric Chesher joins them as this could easily be the continuation of 2014s Ballads Vol. II. This is inoffensive easy listening jazz done well.
