O’s Notes: Bob Arthurs is a renowned trumpet player. Steve Lamattina has been playing guitar since he was 10. They are both faculty members at the Music Conservatory of Westchester. They team up he as a duo on Jazz for Svetlana, the latest in their ten-year collaboration. This is also the singing debut recording for Bob though not his first attempt with vocals. They sound good whether on jazz classics or a couple of Arthurs originals. The music is clean, precise and suitable for listening in just about any environment.
