O’s Notes: Keeping It Simple is a duet featuring vocalist Judy Philbin and guitarist Adam Levine. While it is a minimal approach, Levine adds one to four additional guitar tracks over the twelve selections, mostly classic covers. Judy and Adam each contribute two originals to the mix. Philbin’s voice has stage like presence as she articulates the lyrics in a deliberate, almost calculated way. The beauty is in the marriage of voice and guitar without any distractions. The mood is light.
