O’s Notes: The band is Felipe Salles (sax), Kobi Salomon (cl, sax), Emilio Teubal (p), Moto Fukushima (b) and Franco Pinna (d). They play a Latin based jazz-fusion with all new music written by Teubal except “Intro” composed by Fukushima. We liked “Capone’s”, the swinging groove of “AC in Ab” and the pleasant bounce of “Berry”. The music defines a new space for La Balteuband, one that we hope they continue to fill with more music.
