O’s Notes: Echoes is quartet with Max Bessesen (sax, fl, keyboards), Matt DiBiase (vibes, keyboards), Chase Kuesel (d) and Evan Levine (b, g), all with equal billing. Each member contributes two originals. They blend electronics into jazz fusion to arrive at their own sound. We liked “Attics”, “the syncopated “Taylor”, and the adventurous “Lasting” best.
