O’s Notes: Levy’s vocals are well articulated with a strong voice and lots of vibrato it’s a combination that works well on Late Night Journey. She has strong accompaniment including featured saxophonist Lew Tabackin. We enjoyed the fresh arrangements and bluesy treatment of “You Don’t Know What Love Is” and her scatting on “I Got Rhythm”. These are unique takes of ten classics enclosed by two of Daphna’s originals notably “Jazzland”.
