O’s Notes: Christina explores her Latin roots exploring music from Italy and Argentina. She plays Galacian bagpipes and piano accompanied by Victor Prieto (accordion), Edward Perez (b) and Eric Doob (d). This is a fusion of jazz that is vibrant and unique and undoubtedly one of the more tasteful doses of bagpipes that we’ve heard! There are nine mostly original tracks culminating with the funky calypso of “Let’s Festa”. Those who sample Latina will be rewarded!
