O’s Notes: Londoner, Victor Feldman leads this Latin ensemble on both vibes and piano. The band has both brass and percussive sections complete with congas, bongos and timbales. They play Latin jazz classics like “Poinciana” and “South of the Border” as well as relaxing tunes like “Flying Down to Rio”. The originals were recorded in 1958-59, five of the seventeen tracks released for the first time here. Complete with cha-cha and mambo this is Latinsville!
