O’s Notes: This is a popping collection of smooth jazz tunes both fast and slow written by leader Rick Kelly. They open with the pulsating beat of “”. It’s a throbbing club groove that continues through the entire set. There are cool guitar and sax leads anchored by the deep bass and percussion. They get a little funky on “Luv’ll Find A Way”, a cool track. Whispered vocal melodies keep the flow fresh on “da da Diamonds” one of the best of the bunch. It feels like Euro-clubbing with solid beats all the way through.
