O’s Notes: Fay is a straight-ahead blues singer combining fusion poetic blues and free jazz. It is a unique approach: free poetic blues… The best are “There They Are” and the funky finale, “Last Night I Had A Dream”. Anton Goudsmit makes a strong contribution on guitar as does Walter Wierbos (tb). Jacko Schoonderwoerd (b) and Peiter Bast (d) round out the band.
