O’s Notes: Rockin’ blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd celebrates his 1995 debut release of Ledbetter Heights with The 30th Anniversary Sessions supported by a 2026 national tour. It’s a live studio recording with the musicians feeding off each other. Vocalist Noah Hunt (g, perc) replaces Corey Sterling on all lead vocals expect “Riverside” featuring Kenny on the mic. The rest of the band is Chris “Whipper” Layton (d), Kevin McCormick (b), Joe Krown (keyboards), Doug Woolverton (t), and Charlie DiPuma (sax). “Deja Voodoo”, “Shame, Shame, Shame”, “I’m Leaving You”, and the live recording of “While We Cry” are highlights in a memorable session.
