O’s Notes: #Legends is a pleasant album featuring vocalist Christian Josi performing a myriad of classics. The magic comes from his buttery baritone and cool collaborations. He has a wonderful team of musicians including guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli (still going strong at 89), Harry Allen on sax, Alan Ferber on trombone, bassist David Finck and Mike Renzi on piano. Freddy Cole joins Josi on “Two Of A Kind” and Antonia Bennett sings with him on “I Have Dreamed”. We also enjoyed “Corcovado”, “Witchcraft” and “Well Did You Evah?” with Renzi joining Christian on the mic.
