O’s Notes: These are engaging compositions, a combination of fusion, bop, New Orleans jazz and afro-Cuban rhythms. Crafted in the spirit of Martin Luther King’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech, the four songs capture anger, happiness and hope. Among the thirteen musicians are trumpeter Abram Wilson, Adam Goldsmith (g) and Baptiste on tenor sax. The poetic passages from Ben Okri are well integrated with the music making this an inspirational and uplifting recording.
