O’s Notes: This is a throw back swing set with a large ensemble and featured vocalist Molly Ryan. Her voice is soft and gentle and the band surrounds her with befitting accents from all directions. Pianist Dick Hyman is among the talented musicians in the fold. If you didn’t read the liner notes you’d think Molly was extracted from the 1920s. Let’s Fly Away truly captures the essence of the period.
