O’s Notes: Seals’ voice is gruff and throaty, complimented by his liquid electric lead guitar lines. You’ll feel his signature most on songs like “Give the Devil His Due”, the rocking “Hair on A Frog” and the slower tempo “Jelly, Jelly” both of the latter with Al Kooper on the Hammond B-3 and Scott Healy on piano. True blues.
