O’s Notes: Drummer Asaf Sirkis teams up with Yaron Stavi (b) and Tassos Spiliotopoulos (g) to perform seven original compositions. We liked the groove on the title track with Sirkis fully connected to the energy from Spiliotopoulos’ electric lead lines. We were soothed by the relaxing karma of “Waltz For Rehovot”. Special guest Patrick Bettison plays harmonica on two tracks notably “Ima” with excellent work from Sirkis. Most of the program is soft fusion/progressive rock with Asaf playing a strong role throughout.
