O’s Notes: Many musicians have recorded tributes but few can pull it off with the intensity of the original. Liebman (sax) picks Coltrane and comes close to the level of intensity of the legend! The band is a trio with Marius Beets (b) and Eric Ineke (d). It is a live set and they push the envelope feeling the moment. The solos are exceptional! Check Ineke on “Mr. P.C.” and Liebman whaling on “Take the Coltrane” for a taste!
