O’s Notes: Guitarist Alex Wintz displays outstanding prowess on“Life Cycle“especially on “I Don’t Stand a Ghost Of a Chance With You. It’s a collection of 7 originals and 2 covers. We liked the funky vibe on “Sweet And Lovely”, the blues of “Shared Stories” and the sweet, mellow groove on “Seeing Distance” with Lucas Pino complimenting Wintz on tenor sax. There is great variety in band configuration, pace and groove making this a strong set.
