O’s Notes: There’s no mistaking this for a live performance, especially “The Chicken”. The sound is wide and open while the band is in the festive ‘concert’ mode. That means extended heart felt solos and playing from the heart vs. the chart. Of course Dave lights up the drums but there’s also some lively work on sax from Gary Meek, Steve Weingart on keyboards and Tom Kennedy playing the bass. The band and the audience were synchronized and you can feel the enthusiasm through 12 songs on 2 CDs for over 120 minutes of pleasure.
