O’s Notes: Charged Particles is a San Francisco-based jazz-fusion trio with Murray Low (keyboards), Aaron Germain (b) and Jon Krosnick (d). Special guest Tod Dickow (t-sax) joins them to play the music of Michael Brecker for Live at the Baked Potato! It is an electrifying performance with Dickow delivering a riveting take of Brecker’s intensity. There are notable solos, from Germain on “African Skies”, from Low on “Talking To Myself”, and a fierce exchange between Dickow and Krosnick on “Peep”. We also enjoyed the ballad “Never Alone”.
