O’s Notes: Roseanna has voice that is pure bliss. She sings from the bottom of her heart breathing life into all that she sings. Listen to “Black Coffee”, “Tryin’ Times” and “Serrado”, all excellent examples of her jazzy blues style. This is a live session recorded at the Kennedy Center in DC. Behind her Tim Horner (d), Dean Johnson (b) and Kenny Werner (p) do an excellent job on the beats and flow.
