O’s Notes: This live performance is an excellent collection of Carmen’s best performed in full effect during February 2005! She celebrates over 30 years writing, singing and delighting audiences worldwide. Among the strong supporting cast are Phil Upchurch (g), Nathan East (b), Bobby Watson (sax) and Steve Turre (tb). There are 18 songs on 2 discs of which we preferred the latter. We enjoyed the package as much as the packed house at the Madrid in Los Angeles.
