O’s Notes: These guys have been performing together for over thirty years. They play the West Coast variety of contemporary jazz-fusion. Leader Ralph Towner (g and keys), Paul McCandless (horns), bassist Glen Moore and Mark Walker (d) still have the ability to bring their audience into their zone. This August, 2001 session at Yoshi’s is their third live album and it’s very good, an excellent sampling of their music.
