O’s Notes: Oscar is singing many of his own songs along with a few classics on this international recording. The lyrics have humor, humiliation, romance and blues making for an entertaining session. The songs range from the fun loving “Dat Dere” to the bluesy “Hazel’s Hips” to “Billie’s Bounce” Oscar style! The accompaniment is also strong helping to set the mood on songs like “It’s October”. A nice set.
