O’s Notes: We didn’t realize Mack Avenue had such an appealing roster of musicians until we saw all of the names together! Gary Burton (vibes), Kevin Eubanks (g), Tia Fuller (sax), Sean Jones (t), Rodney Whitaker (b) and Carl Allen (d) are some of the star laden cast that appeared in this live session at Detroit’s Jazz Festival 2012. They play seven tunes a mix of originals and classics all done in concert mode. Explosive solos, high energy and spirit reign high!
