O’s Notes: Sarah was ‘the voice’, always on key with a warm wide range, an instrument to behold. While she’s singing standing in front of the microphone, you can see how effortless it is for her to gracefully sing these classics. These are performances in Sweden (twice) and Holland in 1958 & 1964. She bridges the tunes with soft-spoken introductions delighting her audience. Among the best are “Lover Man” and “Sometimes I’m Happy” both recorded in The Netherlands. She performed marvelously despite having a cold in Sweden in 1964 highlighted by “I Feel Pretty”, “Maria” and “Misty”.
