O’s Notes: Parisian drummer and composer Patrick Forgas created his band over two decades ago. The lineup has been steady for most of that time with the exception of new (in 2013) guitarist Pierre Schmidt. Karolina Mlodecka (violin), Sébastien Trognon (sax, fl), Dimitri Alexaline (t, flugelhorn, tb), Gérard Prévost (b) and Igor Brover (p) are the balance of the band. They play a mix of progressive rock and jazz-fusion. We like the final track “Corner Stone” best.
