O’s Notes: Patti sings about love, making her way through American songbooks to select fourteen gems. She also plays the piano and ads Keter Betts (b) and Joe Labarbera (d) for most of the songs. Her voice is deep, somewhat veiled and emotional. Her goal is to engage the listeners as if the lyrics are their story. The best are Patti’s arrangements of “Body And Soul” and “I Told You So”.
