O’s Notes: Pianist Pamela Hines serves up a swinging program of nine selections. Guest vocalist April Hall adds a rich fourth element to the mix while John Lockwood (b) and Lee Harris, Jr. (d) anchor the beats. Highlights are “Dreamerman”, the sweet bossa nova of “Moment” and “Porter Please”. Lucky’s Boy is an enticing blend of vocals and instrumental jazz. The band has great chemistry.
