O’s Notes: One Lady Jazz is the second release from Laurel Moore. We classify the music as contemporary ballads. Laurel’s soft vocals and warm tenor sax are supported by pianist Tony Gayle and Steve Parisien on guitar. The sound is light without bass and drums presenting a gentle, sweet sound. There are only five selections including “Shadows Of Light” from their debut release and a soft cover of “Fotographia”. Moore has good potential and we expect to her more of her going forward.
