O’s Notes: Vocalist, composer and producer Aimée Allen surrounds herself with a polished trio that includes bassist Fanois Moutin, Toru Dodo on piano and drummer Jacob Melchior. Guitarist Romero Lubambo plays like he is auditioning for life as the featured artist on four selections notably “Corcovado” and “Matter of Time”. Moutin’s accompaniment is also stellar notably on the opening of “My Romance”. That strong support allows Aimée to breathe and stretch out and makes Matter of Time a very good effort.
