O’s Notes: While Metal may be exciting for rock fans, it didn’t really excite us. Brian’s immense talents were hidden behind the fuzzy electronic fusion which we initially mistook to be a lead guitar. This is not always the case as Brian let the true timbre of his piccolo bass come out on several tracks. It just falls too far out of the jazz spectrum for us.
