O’s Notes: The core of Westbound is Cristian Rocco (g, b, keyboards) and Enrico Catena (d, percussion). They share production duty and Rocco wrote most of the songs. The beats are slow medium tempo/relaxed and make the set easy to digest. We liked Cristian’s guitar leads on “Estate” and “Spring Break”. And the best of the lot is “Smooth” in either of two versions.
