O’s Notes: Julia is singing in front of a polished band that includes Pat Bergeson (g, harmonica), Jim Ferguson (b) and Tony Migliore (p). She takes us through sixteen tunes that have a small club feel. Her voice is warm, cozy and inviting. The theme is swing and Ricky Woodard (sax), Denis Solee (cl) and George Tidwell (t) do a fine job underscoring the moods. This is the fifth album for Rich and she sprinkles a few originals in with the classics. Highlights are the title track, “At Last” and “Halloween Birthday”.
