O’s Notes: Paul plays a dozen jazz standards on piano. He’s playing solo but you’ll get the feeling of a larger ensemble as his left and right hands complement each other nicely. The music ranges from the soft sounds of “Someone to Watch Over Me” to the spirited bounce of “You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To” but most of the session consists of more subtle approaches such as on “Laura” or “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face”. It a nice background set.
