O’s Notes: Joe Chambers leads this large ensemble from his perch at the drums. They perform a rousing mixture of originals and covers. It doesn’t take long to get on board along with the crowd at this live session at Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola. The music has a mysterious air that suggests an engaging cinematic thriller that lives up to its title. Moving Pictures Orchestra is big band splendor at its best.
