O’s Notes: Rich DeRosa is the legendary director of composition and arranging at The University of North Texas. On Wisdom he celebrates many of his favorite compositions and arrangements. The musicians are from his One O’clock Lab Bands 2017-2025. The arrangements are crisp, precise and well recorded. It is easy to appreciate the musicians individually and collectively, a characteristic of DeRosa’s work! “Lines and Spaces”, “The Man I Love” featuring vocalist Georgia Barge & Brenin Coin (p), and “Birds of a Feather” are notable.
