O’s Notes: Mozik is a Latin-fusion quartet featuring Yulia Musayelyan (fl), Fernando Huergo (b), Mauricio Zottarelli (d), Gustavo Assis-Brasil (g) and Gilson Schchnik (keyboards). They are a solid team that blends a couple of Schachnik originals with the music of Jobim, Monk and Hancock. The arrangements all have contemporary freshness making them current and relevant today. Of note are “A Felicidade”, “O Amor Em Paz” and “Zelia” in a strong set.
