O’s Notes: Drummer, Dave Weckl has a winner with Multiplicity. This is a music that reminds us of the early Brecker Brothers recordings – funky, hip, cool fusion. There’s crisp sax from Gary Meek, funky bass from Tom Kennedy, Steve Weingart on keys and Richie Garcia adding accents on percussion. Not just a few but many of the songs click. “Watch Your Step” and “Down On The Corner” are among the best.
