O’s Notes: The dynamics are stunning, especially without the visuals leading your mind. The tones of the movie are dark and tragic, requiring something different than a rock or a blues score. With the movie being filmed around Boston, the logical choice for a large ensemble was the Boston Symphony. They manage to accentuate feelings and moods with the music that make me want to see the film. Regardless, this is beautiful music. It brightens up a rainy day.
