O’s Notes: Clairdee brings a lot of entertainment to this live session with appropriate commentary between tracks to engage her audience. She is a confident singer with lots of stage presence. Her soul comes through on songs like “Cheek To Cheek” and “Summertime”. All of the arrangements are fresh with bright moods, evidence: “Corcovado” with a cool bass solo from Ron Belcher. Good music, excellent instrumentation and warm jovial vocals make this a near perfect session.
