O’s Notes: Jackie has a delicate, sweet voice that works well on this programs of romance, honky tonk and blues. She has a talented team of musicians supporting her, especially guitarist John Moulder who shines on “Blame It On My Youth” and “Born To Be Blue”. The groove is solid and balanced with the lyrics. Guest artist Tito Carillo’s muted trumpet gives a mysterious feel to “Manic Depression”. We also enjoyed “A House Is Not A Home” rounding out a good performance.
