O’s Notes: Keith (p) leads a formidable trio with bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Jack DeJohnette. These talented veteran jazz musicians come together for a concert at Montreux. The energy is high as they perform to an appreciative audience. We enjoyed the ragtime bounce of “You Took Advantage Of Me”. All three musicians take well-developed solos on songs like “Straight, No Chaser”, “Five Brothers” and many others on this live recording. We felt like we were there and truly enjoyed ourselves!
