O’s Notes: Bob Mover is a veteran saxophonist and singer. Horn players who sing are typically very melodic when the play. Mover fits this categorization. The title is a good description of the music on these two discs as Bob breathes emotions straight from his heart. He gets help from a solid team that includes pianist Kenny Barron, bassist Bob Crenshaw and either Steve Williams or Victor Lewis on drums. All of them take the spotlight at some point and they all glimmer. The first disc is all covers while CD #2 includes five Mover originals. Together the sixteen selections strike a warm chord.
